Happy Birthday to Me
I had just about the best birthday, or birthday three day weekend, that anyone in the history of history has ever had. Who knew you could win me over so easily with good food, good wine, and approximately 11 double dark chocolate desserts served over the course of 72 hours? Ok, ok, maybe that one was totally obvious. But then the boyfriend went above and beyond all that I've ever deserved with a well-organized day trip to Baltimore complete with an aquarium visit,
(we went swimming!)
(i somehow managed to find the escalator the most interesting part)and a Yankees/O's baseball game.
(to my surprise the O's tied it up in the 9th...)
(but lost in the 10th as they are fairly terrible.)
Real (non-pictoral!) blogging to resume in a few weeks(?), I suspect, post s.o. departure, subsequent heartbreak, etc etc.

im' a bit sentimental now. so don't read my posts. they are worthless. and pooped up. or just wacked. or wasted. on a monday. OH GOD.
Beth, each of your last four blog posts have included one or more of the following:
-Chocolate
-Wine
-The Beau
This latest one features prominently all three.
In the spirit of combining things that you like (Chap-pen!), I propose trapping the beau in a large bottle filled with chocolate-flavored wine (up to chest level, so he doesn't die), and keeping it in your room forever and ever.
